Don't Just Go Green,
Go Blue Too
The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots environmental
organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s
oceans, waves and beaches. Now in its 25th year, the Surfrider
Foundation has grown from a small group of dedicated surfers in Malibu,
California to a global movement made up of over 50,000 members and 90
chapters worldwide. With several hundred coastal victories under its
belt, the Surfrider Foundation has become the world’s leading
non-governmental organization dedicated to the protection of our
planet’s coastlines.
Surfrider works to address such issues as
water quality, beach and sand loss, coastal access and ecosystem
protection. Volunteers carry out nearly all of the work that the
Surfrider Foundation does.
Know The Issues
- Each year, over 26,000 beaches across the United States are closed or posted as unhealthy due to poor water quality.
- 70% of the world’s coral reef habitats have been lost over the last 20 years.
- Over 1 million seabirds and 100,000 marine mammals die annually from ingestion of or entanglement in plastics.
Take Action
- A percentage of the profits from Emergen-C® BLUE™ benefit the Surfrider Foundation. So to boost your health*, while boosting the health of our planet, simply drink BLUE.
